When you visit Nashville downtown you will be surprised at what all is there. You will find several

here and downtown is the hot spot for the

Second Avenue and Broadway are bustling with

and nightclubs with some awsome entertainment. You will also find great
restaurants in downtown
but there is much more to discover in the Nashville downtown area.
This page is focused more on the not so touristy stuff that you will find in downtown Nashville. Some of it is pretty cool. Here are some sites that you may be interested in seeing some things other than the normal tourist attractions. When you visit Nashville downtown you should have lunch at
the Nashville Arcade:
This area is located between 4th and 5th avenue and Church Street and Union Street. You will find several deli’s and restaurants in here as well as florist, jewelry shops and more. The Peanut Shop is wonderful. The main branch of the Nashville Public Library: If you like architecture and books you will want to just take a stroll through the library. It is beautiful. The library has many free shows and activities for children as well.
Riverfront Park
in Nashville is a nice place to take a stroll and see the scenery. You'll find Fort Nashboro in the park and you can see LP field from there. Frequently there are special events held at the Nashville Riverfront Park.
The Bicentennial Mall
is not your typical mall. It is really a park. It has a time line of history of Tennessee throughout the park. There are fountains of water that children like to run through and get wet.
The Nashville Farmers Market
has a food court with find just about any type of food you want. There are several international restaurants as well as restaurants with good old Southern food. You’re tummy will be full when you leave the food court. There is a flea market and the farm shed inside too.
When you visit Nashville downtown
you will find that the area is loaded with bars and nightclubs, great restaurants, and cool shops. This is what the Nashville Nightlife is all about. I know that there is a ton of stuff that I have not mentioned so take your time and explore downtown Nashville. You may be pleasantly surprised at what you find.
