Outdoor Water Parks
Nashville Summertime Fun.
Nashville has two great outdoor water parks with fantastic water slides to cool you down with this summer. Get ready for some cool summertime fun at these Nashville Tourist Attractions. You’ll have a great time slipping and sliding down the water slides or just splashing around in the pool. Your children will love it. Nashville Shores and Wave Country are both a lot of fun. Either one you choose to visit you are sure to have a great time.
This park has lake activities including kayaking and boat rides also. Nashville Shores has a lot of dry land activities to do as well. There are times during the day when the pool doesn’t have the wave action so you can just swim. The water slides are a lot fun. I have some general tips for visiting outdoor water parks that you may find helpful. 
• Arrive early or come late in the afternoon to avoid crowds. Also weekdays are generally less crowded.• If your group splits up have a set time and place to meet up again. • Follow the rules of the park for safety and you are sure to have fun. • Warn children about not swallowing the pool water. • Keep toddlers in the shallow water for their safety. • Keep an eye on your children. Anything can happen and you want to keep them safe. Be sure to wear a well fitting swimsuit for the water slides. Try to get one without ties that can come loose. Don’t forget to bring sunscreen, sunglasses, swim shoes, and for babies bring swim diapers. It wouldn’t hurt to bring a hat too. You should not bring valuables such as rings or watches. You could lose them. Water Parks discourage floation devices so don't bother bringing them. Water Parks are great places for kids and adults to cool down and have some fun.
