The Tennessee Titans have some great NFL Football Players who know how to play football.

The Titans came to Nashville in 1999 and we have seen some great NFL football tackles since. Going to a Tennessee Titans game is a great way to start your Nashville vacation.

LP field is located on the east bank of the Cumberland River and overlooks downtown Nashville. The stadium holds more that 68,000 fans for a football game and the home games always get sold out so if you want tickets buy them early.

Tennessee Titans fans can boast that they are the loudest fans in the NFL. Fans love to get loud when the opposite team has the ball so the opposing team can’t hear the calls and make mistakes.

Parking around the stadium is limited to season ticket permit holders but there are plenty of parking lots close by and some of them provide shuttles to the game and most of them are in walking distance to the game. For more information on parking check the Park It Downtown website.

LP field is also close to downtown Nashville where you can find plenty of Nashville entertainment. Many fans of the Titans that do not have tickets gather at Nashville bars and downtown Nashville restaurants to watch the game.

Want to see the Titans in action for FREE? Visit the Titans Training Camp during the month of August. Actually in 2010 the first practice session is on July 31st and the last one is August 26th.

There are 18 practice sessions and all of them are free. On top of free practice sessions, several Titans players will be signing autographs after practice.

The training camp is at the Baptist Sports Park located at 460 Great Circle Road, Nashville TN. You can park directly across the street from Baptist Sports Park in the CVS/Caremark corporate offices at 445 Great Circle Road.

From Interstate 65 in downtown Nashville, take Exit 85 (Rosa Parks Boulevard) North. Proceed on Rosa Parks Boulevard and turn right on Athens Way, the turn left on Great Circle Road. Here is the training camp schedule. Have fun.
