The House of Pizza is one of my favorite downtown Nashville restaurants because I love pizza and this is the best I have ever had. They also have terrific calzones, stromboli and lasagna. My husband really like the spinach rolls. The House of Pizza is operated by a New Yorker. He has been serving New York Pizza in Nashville for many years. One neat thing about this place is that you can watch them tossand twirl the pizza dough to make the pizza crust. It is funto watch. Another great place to have pizza is at Pie in the Sky Pizza. They have a large dining room with several TV's with ESPN so that you can watch the game while enjoying your pizza. The main things is the food. You can get pasta, calzones, salads and of course pizza. Not just any pizza, they have a variety of specialty pizzas or you can create your own, up to 55 toppings. This is also a great place for kids to eat. Kids love pizza and here they will enjoy playing with the pizza dough.That's right the kids get a ball of pizza dough to play with until the pizza comes out. It is a great place for pizza and relaxation. They actually have three locations. Here is the website for more info. The Vandy/Midtown location is very close to the Parthenon Coco's Italian Market is also a great place to get Nashville pizza. This place is owned and operated by the third generation of Italians.
