Nashville nightlife is booming in downtown Nashville every night.
On Second Avenue, Lower Broadway and Printers Alley you will find bright lights, live music and great food.
You don’t want to miss seeing downtown Nashville.
There are numerous
restaurants as well as some
Nashville tourist attractions
in downtown Nashville.
Although country music is what Nashville is famous for, there are a lot of different styles of music played here.
You will find a variety of live entertainment in the downtown district, including country, the blues, alternative, rock and roll, and more.
Many times you will be able to see some famous stars at these clubs.
My friend Vivian and her husband Wally went to see Alison Krauss at a benefit concert at the Wildhorse Saloon not long ago.
There are a lot of
downtown Nashville restaurants
with delicious food and great service.
You’ll find restaurants like the
Old Spaghetti Factory
Hard Rock Cafe.
You might want to venture up to 3rd Avenue to
restaurant only one block from both Second Avenue and Broadway.
It is reasonably priced, has great food and the service is always good.
Shopping in Nashville can be a lot of fun in the downtown area.
You’ll find several souvenir shops with a lot of neat stuff in downtown Nashville.
You will also find a variety of shops that sell country western wear, books, jewelry, shoes and so much more.
After spending a day downtown you may wish you could just be instantly at you car or downtown hotel.
One quick way to get back is to catch a ride with Warren and his covered three wheeler.
For a small fee he took us to our car and it onlytook a few minutes. He usually parks in front if Tootsies Orchid Lounge on Broadway.
As you can see this is one of Nashville's hot spots for Nashville nightlife. Check out
for more hot spots in Nashville.
You’re sure to have a great time strolling around the downtown district because it is just a unique experience.
I have been in the downtown district twice with small children, once in the day and once at night. Both times I was with out of town relatives who wanted to see the downtown district. We had to bring their kids.
I recommend that you do not bring kids down here. The day time was not so bad, but don’t bring them at night.
Being the hot spot for the Nashville nightlife the downtown area has a lot of people walking around and it really is an adult atmosphere.
If you do bring your kids there are a few things that they might enjoy. There is a
horse and carriage tour
that goes around the downtown area.
They would probably enjoy stopping at Mike’s ice cream shop is on Broadway. The
Nashville Trolley Tour
or a visit to the
will probably keep them entertained as well. They also might like the souvenir shops.
Have a great time!!!!!!!!!
My friends Vivian and Wally took the Allison Krauss picture at a benefit concert at the Wildhorse Saloon with my camera. Thanks Vivian and Wally for getting me some pictures.
