Nashville Ballet
See the Nashville Ballet for a fantastic night of
Nashville Entertainment.
They have some great shows planned at the
Tennessee Performing Arts Center (TPAC).
Some of the shows are classics like the Nutcracker and Cinderella. No matter what show you see you will be impressed.
The dancers are very talented. How in the world do they dance on their toes? It is just incredible. They do a great job and you are sure to enjoy it. The ballet company often works with the
Nashville Symphony
for some outstanding performances. Most of the ballets are being performed at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. It is located on Deadrick and 6th Avenue in downtown Nashville. Visit the
ballet website
for a list of shows and more information. Here are some tips for you to have a more enjoyable experience. - Years ago it was a given that you have to dress elegantly if you were attending the ballet. Not so today, many people wear office casual clothing but if you are celebrating a special occasion feel free to dress in formal attire. - It is a good idea to arrive about a half hour early. Sometimes there is a line to pick up tickets if you have a reservation. Also allow time to find parking. If you arrive late you will have to stay in the lobby until management allows you into the show. - Leave you cameras and recording devices at home because they are prohibited. - Turn off your cell phones and pagers because they can really distract from the performances. Have a great time at the ballet.
Donna's Corner
You can find all sorts of entertainment in downtown Nashville. If you like the classical arts then TPAC is one of the best places to see Broadway plays and of course the ballet. The Nashville Symphony usually performs at the Schermerhorn Center but often play at various venues around town. There are also a lot of
dinner theaters
in Nashville that have great live performances. One of my favorites is
Chaffins Barn Dinner Theater
because I know I will be laughing the night away when I visit.
