Mongolian BBQBarbeque or Stirfry ???? Khans Mongolian BBQ is not bar-b-que. Khans is a unique downtown Nashville restaurant. It is actually a stir fry place. I think it is the only one of its kind in downtown. It is a good place to have lunch.
It has a food bar of uncooked food. When you go in you choose a bowl, then you choose your meat which is thin slices of frozen beef, chicken, turkey or pork. Then you choose the veggies, spices and oils. Once you bowl is full take it to the cashier. He will ask if you want brown or white rice or if you want noodles. Then you pay for your food and drink.
He will give you a cup for your drink and a number. You find a table and wait for your number to be called. It is usually less than 10 minutes. The food is really good and I go there often with my friends. A small bowl of food fills my plate especially after they add the rice to the meal. I usually can’t eat it all and I have a healthy appetite. I only get a large bowl if I am planning to take the leftovers with me.
