Hear Bluegrass Musicat Full Moon Pickin Parties If you love to hear bluegrass music then you must go to one of the Full Moon Pickin Parties at Warner Parks in Nashville TN. Bluegrass singers will shine at these Nashville events.
These Nashville events come up about once a month from May through October. Bluegrass singers and pickers gather at the Equestrian Barn in Warner Parks to play bluegrass all evening long. 
Several groups will be performing on stage while other pickers perform around the grounds. These are family friendly events that the whole family can enjoy. The events are reasonably priced for a fun evening. Children under 6 are free, ages 7-15 are about $10.00 per ticket and about $15.00 for adults if you order in advance. There are a few seats available but it would be a good idea to bring your blankets or lawn chairs to sit on. You can purchase food here if you are hungry. Surprisingly the beverages are included in the ticket price. Danny and I went to the Pickin Party with our good friends Dave and Mary. We had a great time. We took lawn chairs with us but more often than not we were up walking around taking pictures and listening to the bluegrass pickers up close. Here is a video of our night there. Some of the photos could be better but you they give you an idea of what to expect when you get there. The food was good there too. They had hamburgers, turkey burgers, grilled chicken sandwiches, hot dogs and more. Drink are included with the price of a ticket but you can buy food if you like for about $6.00. Centennial Park Every Wednesday in June watch Free Movies in the Park at Sunset at the Centennial Park Bandshell
Musicians Corner is also at Centennial Park every Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm. It is a great way to spend an afternoon.
