Green Hills MallGreen Hills Mall is one of the best places to do some upscale Nashville shopping. The Mall at Green Hills has some of the finest specialty shops, including Tiffany & Co., Brooks Brothers, the Cheesecake Factory and more than 100 other fine stores. The mall also has some large department stores including Macy’s and Dillard’s.
There are plans to bring in a Nordstrom Department store sometime in 2011. There is some construction going on in preparation for Nordstrom’s and they are expanding their parking. Right now customers are encouraged to enter The Mall parking deck through the entrance across from Walgreen's on Abbott Martin Road. The mall has complimentary valet parking at the Macy's Hillsboro Pike entrance for customer convenience. Just call the valet phone number, (615) 593-3280, about 15 minutes prior to desired pick up. Nothing says upscale like valet parking. That’s cool. A lot of famous country music singers like Reba McEntire have been seen shopping at this mall. The Mall at Green Hills is one of the best places in Nashville to find unique, upscale items. When I am in visit Nashville downtown at night I feel like a tourist because there are a ton of souvenir shops, restaurants and live entertainment there. I usually get something from one of the souvenir shops. I know that may seem silly because I live in Nashville but sometimes I find some nice things. I don't go downtown just to shop. Usually I am there to see some live entertainment at one of the Nashville Bars on Second Avenue or Broadway or one of the other music venues in downtown Nashville. Centennial Park Every Wednesday in June watch Free Movies in the Park at Sunset at the Centennial Park Bandshell
Musicians Corner is also at Centennial Park every Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm. It is a great way to spend an afternoon.
