Fantastic Riverboat Cruises in Nashville

The General Jackson Showboat is one of the best things to do in Nashville. Taking one of these riverboat cruises is a great way to experience some great Nashville entertainment.

Whether you are looking for romance, dancing or just some festive entertainment you’ll find it on this Nashville tourist attraction.

There are several cruise options. You can take an evening cruise, a midday cruise, a special cruise or join one of the Titans Tailgate Cruises.

The dinner cruises have a show called Country Music USA featuring hit songs from the past as well as blockbuster hits of today.

Live music shows are performed in the two-story Victorian Theater that is located in the center of the boat. There is also live music and buffets on the outer decks on the weekends.

The midday cruises are two and a half hours of a panoramic view of the scenic Cumberland River. It is beautiful and you will get to see some historical points along the river. You’ll see a high energy country music and comedy show on the midday cruise.

During the year the General Jackson celebrates special occasions such as New Year’s Eve, Mardi Gras and more with great music, food and lots of fun.

You can take a cruise to the Tennessee Titan’s playoff games on the Music City Queen. You will get a delicious buffet on the way to the game and dessert on the way back. The General Jackson is one of the largest paddlewheel riverboats in the country. It is 300 feet long with 4 huge decks and will accommodate 1100 passengers.

The showboat is a popular setting for theme cruises such as weddings and family reunions, meetings and business events. Your group can buy in to an existing cruise or charter the boat exclusively.

Tours of the showboat is also available but you must purchase a regular ticket in addition to the tour and you will have to board the boat about 45 minutes before the cruise you are taking begins.
