Frothy Monkey Coffee HouseThe Frothy Monkey Coffee House is a neighborhood coffee house located in Belmont/Hillsborough area of Nashville, just minutes from downtown. It's a great place to relax and enjoy a Nashville dining experience in one of Nashville's popular neighborhoods. The coffee shop is located in a renovated house. Tables and booths fill the room in addition to a generous patio.
Combine that with free wireless and you will have a special place to catch up on emails, enjoy a good cup of coffee, and visit with regular Nashvillians. 
You are apt to find it inhabited by many Belmont college students cramming for a test or just visiting between classes.The food is excellent and named after those who helped establish the coffee house in some way. This Frothy Monkey prides itself on serving the finest organic dishes available and obtains much of its staples locally. There's the Larry, my friend Dave's favorite and is named after a "husky" man who did a work on the facility. Mary, Dave's angel of a wife, likes the Royale, named after a dear friend's daughter of the Coffee House. Breakfast will cost between $5 and $10 dollars, lunch will set you back anywhere from $6-$8, and dinner a mere $6-$9. Can't beat those prices and the food is very good. Our friends tell us that if visiting in the summer sit in the main area rather than the lower level- it's gets rather hot down there! Parking can be found in the rear of the building; on street parking can be difficult depending on the time of day.
Come casual, relax, and enjoy a meal or just a cup of coffee at the Frothy Monkey and enjoy a real Nashville local hangout. The are open from 7a.m.-7p.m. through the week and open an hour later on Saturday and Sunday from 8a.m-7p.m. Prices for coffee range from 1.50 for a regular cup of coffee, 1.65 for an Espresso and 2.85 for a Cappuccino. The Coffee House is located on the right-hand side. From I-440,Take the 21st Ave. exit and head towards downtown (North) on 21st Ave. Take a right onto Sweetbriar Ave. Continue on Sweetbriar across Belmont Blvd until Sweetbriar ends at 12th Ave. S. Cheekwood Knights Live music and cash bars throughout the Cheekwood gardens from 6:00-9:00 on the first Friday of every month June - October
Centennial Park Every Wednesday in June watch Free Movies in the Park at Sunset at the Centennial Park Bandshell
Musicians Corner is also at Centennial Park every Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm. It is a great way to spend an afternoon.
