Festivals Fairs in Nashville
Celebration of Culture at Centennial Park Nashville TN 2009
I love festivals fairs and events and this one exceeded my expectations. Danny and I went to the Celebration of Culture in Nashville at Centennial Park last weekend. This is an annual event that is free admission. What a great way to learn about other cultures. Check the official website
official website
for more information on the event and times. We enjoyed the Danza Azteca- Mexico dancers very much.

Next we saw the Love Drums at Drum Circle World. The main singer/drummer had the audience singing along and they had a several drums and invited the crowd to join in. All of the people sitting down with the drums are people from the crowd. Both kids and adults enjoyed getting to participate.

Here is a picture of kids at the Mae Pole. The kids were having fun.

This picture is of the crowds at vendor stands. As you can see there was a pretty good size crowd at this festival.

The Asian dancers were great. I had to get the picture from the side because all I didn’t get there in time to get near the front. All my shots from the front had the back of heads in it. These dancers were amazing.

We enjoyed the Latin Jazz dancers as well. The music was festive and it was neat to watch.

This is a picture of the
Nashville Parthenon
and the Celebration of Cultures from across the large pond. The Parthenon is one of the most popular
Nashville tourist attractions.

There are a lot of
festival and events
in Nashville every month. See you next year!!!
