Factory at FranklinBe sure to check out the Factory at Franklin while on your Nashville Shopping trip.If you are looking for unique items, especially home decor this is the place to shop. There are no chain stores at the Factory of Franklin. These locally owned quaint little shops are chock full of unique items.
You’ll find shops with oil paintings, artwork, floor coverings and much more. There is also a large antique store with a lot of unique items. This mall is also the home of the Boiler Room Theater where you can see some live theatre plays. Are you hungry? You can have lunch at the Stove Works patio. If you are planning on dining in the evening you can dine at the elegant Boxwood Bistro or have an exotic meal at the Saffire. Franklin is actually about 20 miles south of Nashville. Here is the address for you. 230 Franklin Road Donna's Corner The Boiler Room Theater in this mall is fantastic. Another place to see some great plays is at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in downtown Nashville. I haven't written too much about towns surrounding Nashville but Franklin has a lot to offer. So does some of the other surrounding towns. If I think something is worth mentioning I will. This is one of the most unique shopping malls around. Cheekwood Knights Live music and cash bars throughout the Cheekwood gardens from 6:00-9:00 on the first Friday of every month June - October
Centennial Park Every Wednesday in June watch Free Movies in the Park at Sunset at the Centennial Park Bandshell
Musicians Corner is also at Centennial Park every Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm. It is a great way to spend an afternoon.
