Music City Duck Tours
A Nashville Vacation Adventure!
It appears that Music City Duck Tours may have closed. The link to the website is not good any more nor is the phone number. If I find out any new information I will update this page again. |
Music City Duck Tours will be an exciting adventure for you and your family through Nashville. It is one of the
Nashville attractions
you don't want to miss. You will go through the streets of downtown and then splash you into the river for a short boat ride. Kids even get a chance to drive the boat while in the water. This will be one of the highlights of your
Nashville Vacation.
You will have the ride of your life on this tour. The DUKW is a vehicle like no other. It is called and an amphibious vehicle which means it is half boat and half truck. You may be wondering “where did this vehicle come from?” It is a working relic from World War II. The military needed a special vehicle that could travel on land and in water so they ask General Motors to build some. It is pretty cool. You may never get another opportunity to ride in a vehicle that drives on land and floats in water as well. The Ducktors (tour guide) will tell you about the
history of Nashville
while showing you around the downtown area. They will drive by several
Nashville tourist attractions.
Don’t forget to take your camera. You will want pictures to remember things you will see on this tour.
You might want to arrive about a half hour ahead of time if you want first choice of seats. The tours are about an hour and 10 minutes long and it’s a good idea to make reservations ahead of time. If you have fewer than 10 people you can purchase your tickets at the ticket kiosk located at 110 2nd Ave North, Nashville, TN 37203 inside the Charlie Daniels Museum. If you have more that 10 people you will have to should order tickets on the website. Tours are running Tuesday - Sundays for the summer. In the spring and fall they only run Thursdays- Saturday. Check out the Music City Duck Tours website for more information of rates and tour times at www.nashvilleducktours.com
This tour is a lot of fun. It's a great way for families to enjoy the sights and learn about history at the same time. Need to know where to park? I have found an organization called Park It! Downtown whose sole purpose is to promote downtown. They have a ton of information about downtown parking, shuttles and just getting around downtown. I recommend you that you visit their website to find where to park downtown. They can do a much better job than I can on telling you the best place to park. The website is simply
