CMA FEST

The largest Nashville Event of the Year.

Wow, the CMA Fest is incredible. Each year in Nashville Tennessee the CMA puts on a series of concerts in June over a period of 4 days.

You also get a chance to meet and get autographs from stars like Tim McGraw, Carry Underwood and more.

This is one of the biggest Nashville events that Nashville has every year. Reba McEntire and Taylor Swift tell what the CMA Music Fest is all about much better than I can. Check out the video below.

The price of 4 day tickets is really not bad at all, especailly when you compare it to other concert tickets. There is also a lot of free stuff at the festival.Concerts just outside Bridgestone Arena is just one of the free perks you get when you come to the CMA Music festival.

Here are some things to keep in mind when you visit the festival.

It's HOT!!!! Nashville has some really hot summers and during June normal temperatures are in the upper 80's and lower 90's. More than that it is almost always humid. So dress for hot weather. Be sure to drink lots of water during the day. Have you beer and other drinks in the evening.

When it get this hot sometimes we get afternoon rain showers. Get a lightweight poncho to carry with you just in case it rains. You are going to do a lot of walking so wear some comfortable shoes.

Another thing to be aware of is that the security at LP stadium is pretty strict when entering the stadium. They check purses to make sure there are no food being sneaked in or anything else for that matter. Umbrellas are not allowed in the stadium and will be thrown away if you try to take one in.
