Caney Fork Fish Camp
A Unique Nashville Dining Experience
Caney Fork Fish Camp is a great place to go for a unique
Nashville dining
experience. They serve fish, ribs, steaks and good old southern hospitality. The food is very good on so is the live bluegrass music.

Danny and I recently went to Caney Fork Fish Camp. The restaurant looks like a large cabin and feels like you are in the a mountain lodge. There is a large pond inside the restaurant with catfish swimming around. There is a waterfall at the back of the pond and it sounds very soothing. Thursday through Sunday the "Large Mouth Grass", a blue grass band goes around the restaurant playing music for the customers. We enjoyed the music very much. Caney Fork is a
great place for kids
to dine out. The manager gathered up the kids in the restaurant and brought them to the pond to feed the catfish. Of course Danny had to get involved. He is a kid magnet. He told the kids to ripple the water and the catfish would come to them and to my surprise the fish did come when they rippled the water. The kids in the restaurant really enjoyed feeding the catfish. The food was very good. When they brought out the bread, I was expecting a dinner roll but they bought something similar to doughnut holes but it tasted more like funnel cakes. If you have never had a funnel cake you don't know what you are missing, mmm mmm good. This was our first time to this restaurant but definitely not the last. The meal set us back about $25.00 for both of us plus the tip. I thought the prices were good. Our waitress, Heidi was nice enough to take our picture for us.
When we were leaving we were treated to two little girls about 5 or 6 years old doing the "dosido" to the music from the Large Mouth Grass. They were customers and they were cute as can be. This is definitely a kid friendly restaurant. Here is the address, phone number and website for you. 2400 Music Valley Drive Nashville, TN 37214-1001 (615) 724-1200
