Beer Brewers at Music City Brewers Festival

Beer brewers gather up at the Music City Brewers Festival in Nashville Tennessee to let you try all the types of beer you want.

This is one of the best festival and events of the summer.

It is held at the Music City Walk of Fame Park on the lawn of the Hilton Nashville Downtown Hotel between Bridgestone Arena and the Country Music Hall of Fame.

Last year they decided to have two sessions instead of one session all day. This worked out well so they plan to keep doing two sessions in the future. The sessions are from 12N to 4PM and from 6PM to 10PM. Your admission gets you a free glass and all the beer you can drink. Local, regional and larger more popular breweries participate each year. In all you have about 30 breweries to choose from.

Every brewery has a table set up where they offer at least two or three different types of beer, many have more. Several restaurants will also be serving food to go with your beer. There will be bands playing music for you all day long. If you like beer then this is an awesome event. The only bad thing about this festival is that it is in the month of July, the hottest month of the year. The average temperatures are typically in the mid 90’s and it is almost always humid. It is still worth going to.

Tickets to the event in 2011 are $35 for drinkers and $20 for a designated driver. Here is the website for the event so you to get your tickets in advance.

Here are a few things that I recommend for this event. Get your tickets early, the event sells out quickly. Get there early for better parking choices and for more fun.

Most of them usually have some kind of concert or free entertainment.

Festivals and events are often are held at Nashville Parks or in downtown Nashville.
