Donna’s CornerDanny and I went to visit Fort Negley just for pictures. It was a nice morning, not too hot. We enjoyed the walk. There was a sign near the top that said steep hill but I didn't think it was that steep and it is paved so it wasn't very difficult.
We had our 4 year old nephew with us again and he was board. I was a little disappointed that there were not any historic buildings on the site, but it was interesting to see the remains and how the fort was built. I had forgotten that Fort Negley is right beside the Greer Stadium where the
Nashville Sounds
minor league base ball team plays ball. If I had thought about it, we probably would have waited to visit here on a day that we go to a game.
