My husband & I came upon this wonderful restaurant in Lion Head's Village at 48 White Bridge Rd in Nashville Tennessee on a Saturday evening. It is a small & very enjoyable restaurant. They were busy for an eery Saturday evening. They are open for Lunch Mon-Fri 11AM-2PM. Open for Dinner Mon-Fri 5PM - 10PM, Sat-sun 11AM-10PM. Phone number is 356-1556 & 356-1551. They have free delivery 4PM-9PM.
The food is very good, the service was great & the staff was very friendly. They have a small, but widely varied menu.
We had two appetizers: Hyadri-a thick homemade yogurt with chopped walnuts, garlic, carrots & dried mint, served with warm pita bread. Also, had the Anatolia Sampler Platter: Stuffed Grape Leaves, Fillo Dough Roll and Hummus, served with rose petal jam & warm pita bread. The platter was enough for 4 people to sample. The stuffed grape leaves were a little on the sweet side as it had currents. They were wonderful. We were convinced that we would definitely order the appetizers again no matter what on our next trip. We could have made a meal just from the appetizers.
Next came our entrees: Antolia Roasted Chicken-marinated chicken cubes, roasted with onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms, served with rice. Also, Anatolia Roasted Lamb-marinated baby lamb roasted in a special iron plate used by famous Turkish Chefs, with white onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, served with rice.
Both entrees were generous servings. Our meal, plus tax & tip was $50.00.
