American Artisan FestivalThe American Artisan festival is one of the fun and free Nashville events that happen each year in Centennial Park in Nashville Tennessee. There is always food, music and lots of fun at this event. For more than 40 years the festival artists come from all over the country to exhibit their incredible work. 
The festival seems to grow every year. Thousands of people flock to Centennial Park near downtown Nashville each year. Centennial Park is one of the most popular Nashville Parks. It is just beautiful and the Parthenon sits in the center of the park. It is also home to several festival and events that Nashville has throughout the year. There will be about 165 booths at this festival where the artist display and sell their crafts and artwork. You will see everything from pottery to paintings, jewelry, stained glass, and much more. There are usually several food vendors set up in the park where you can have some lunch. If you have been looking for fun things to do with kids in Nashville this is one of them. There is a free art booth for kids where they can create their own artwork. Also Centennial Park has a duck pond and kids love to feed the ducks so be sure to bring some bread or crackers for that activity. Music City is a great place to visit a festival. You can be sure that there will always be some form of Nashville concerts at any festival in Nashville. The American Artisan Festival is no exception. There is always good music to enjoy at this event. This is a three day event that Starts on Friday afternoon and goes through Sunday. The hours are listed below. Friday, June 17 from 12 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Centennial Park is located on West End and 25th Avenue North in Nashville Tennessee. Here are some directions to the park. Centennial Park Every Wednesday in June watch Free Movies in the Park at Sunset at the Centennial Park Bandshell
Musicians Corner is also at Centennial Park every Saturday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 pm. It is a great way to spend an afternoon.
