Adventure Science Center

Laser Show, Astronauts, Moonwalks...

The Adventure Science Center in Nashville is an interactive museum with a memorizing laser show, moonwalks, astronauts and more.

This is one the the best Nashville Museums for kids to visit.

You’re children won’t even realize that they are learning about science because they will be having a blast.

It is a great place for kids to go.

My good friend Claudette is a Homeschool teacher and recently took her children on a visit to this science museum as part of their studies. Check out the slide show from their trip.

One of the most popular places in the museum is the Sudekum Planetarium.

The skies over Nashville is a neat show.

The most popular show is the the Laser Show.

These shows are spectacular.

Here is a list of some recent exhibits at the Adventure Science Center.

Space Chase: How often do you get to experience a moonwalk? You can do it here. You also get a chance to take a simulated astronaut training and you can find out how much you weigh in Jupiter and more. This exhibit is a lot of fun.

Body Quest: Have you ever thought about what goes on inside your body every day. You will see how the different body systems work together to stay in good working order. This is an interactive exhibit.

Bluemax: This is a pretty cool exhibit. It is a total freedom flight simulator. It is a three minute flight and the pilot controls every bank, sky loop, back flip, corkscrew loop, spin and screaming dive. You control the take off, the speed and the landing. Your teens will love this.

Adventure Tower: Get ready to climb, slide, explore and discover. This interactive station has seven levels more than 75 feet tall. There are lots of things to do like hoisting a car off the ground without breaking the sweat. Kids love it.

Mission Impossible: This interactive exhibit is all about how science and medicine team up to help the disable persons with physical handicaps overcome them.

The museum has a gift shop with some educational science toys and unusual items for kids of all ages. Adventure Science Center dinasours, Nashville Tourist Attractions, Great Places for Kids, Nashville Museums The adventure Science Center encourages school field trips, churches, parties, etc.

Donna's Corner

That is my little nephew with the ball. He had a blast while he was there. He really like the see through car and the backhoe for balls. There was a piano that you walk on to play it. He thought was neat too. There are too many things to mention but he had a great time.

They went on a Sunday afternoon and there was a good crowd but not so many to be uncomfortable. My advice is to go in the afternoon or on weekends because a lot of school children go visit during the week on their field trips.
