Nashville Tourist Attractions decked out for Christmas

Nashville tourist attractions are all decked out for the Christmas Holidays. They have decorated in the holiday style and have Nashville entertainment Christmas events scheduled for the season.

First on the list is the Gaylord Opryland Resort. Now you may not think of a Resort as a Nashville tourist attraction, and maybe it's not but the Gaylord Opryland Resort is a sight to see at Christmas time. The Christmas exhibits and shows are from November 20, 2009 - January 2, 2010.

They have over 2 million lights through out the complex. You can stroll through their Hall of Trees, or see Louise Mandress's "Joy to the World" Christmas and Dinner show aboard the General Jackson Showboat.

They also have a new exhibit called ICE, A Charlie Brown Christmas. This exhibit has hand crafted ice sculptures from about 2 million pounds of ice. This is an amazing place to see at Christmas time.

Gaylord Opryland Resort is also responsible for putting on the Radio City Christmas Spectacular at the Grand Ole Opry House.

You may be wondering where is the Grand Ole Opry going to perform during while the Raido City Christmas Spectacular is going on. The answer is they will be performing at the beautifully decorated Ryman Auditorium. The Ryman was home of the Grand Ole Opry for more that 30 years. So it is like going home for the holidays for the Grand Ole Opry.

Nashville Theaters are also decked out for the holidays with holiday decorations and shows.

The Nashville Nightlife Theater has a show called “Best of Country Holiday Show” . You’ll hear Christmas Country Music and Spiritual holiday music as well as the classics like Jingle Bells, White Christmas and more. The dates for this show are November 28th through December 17th.

The Chaffin Dinner Barn Theater has two Christmas shows this year.

One is called “Christmas Belles” and it is hilarious. It is full of hysterical mishaps and you will be laughing through the whole show. The dates for it are November 19th through December 31st.

The second show is called the “Sanders Family Christmas”. More than two dozen Christmas carols and hilarious yuletide stories from the Sanders family keep the audience laughing and singing along with bluegrass Christmas favorites. The dates for this show is from November24th through December 31st.

You can enjoy seeing Nashville historic homes decorated in holiday style.
