Fun Things to do in Nashville during Winter

It isn’t hard to find fun things to in Nashville during the winter months. Some people love the cold weather and the sports that go along with it. Others just want something to do that is fun to do indoors where it is nice and warm. Either way you will find something to put on your Nashville things to do list this winter.

Ice Hockey is in full season during the winter and Nashville is fortunate to have the Nashville Predators, a professional hockey team where you can see all the NHL hockey fights you want.

If you have never been to a Nashville Predators game you don’t know what you are missing. It is loads of fun.

The Centennial Sportsplex offers ice skating during December and January for ages 13 and up. If you can skate it is a lot of fun. Ice Hockey Leagues also play at the Sportsplex during the winter.

A visit to the Adventure Science Center or to Monkey Joes will keep the kids happy. These places are nice and warm inside and the kids will have a blast.

Not interested in sports? A concert at the Grand Ole Opry may be just what you are looking for. There are usually some famous country music singers performing at the Opry.

You can also see a great show at the Schermerhorn Center. It is the home of the Nashville Symphony but you can see performances by other groups as well.

If you prefer the theater, TPAC and Chaffins Dinner Barn usually have good live shows.

These are just a few of the things that Nashville has to offer. As you can see there is no shortage of fun things to do in Nashville during the winter months.
