Five Fun Things to Do in Nashville on a Budget

Nashville is just a fun city to visit. There are hundreds of things to in Nashville. Here are five places things to do that are a lot of fun that won’t break your budget in 2010.

Wave Country Outdoor Water Park is a great deal at only $12.00 per person and $10.00 for kids 3-12. They have several water slides, a big wave pool and a pool for smaller kids.

There is also a playground for children. What’s even better about Wave Country is that you can bring your own food for a picnic or they have concessions available.

The Lane Motor Museum probably has the most unusual cars ever seen. They are mostly European cars, several of them are antique.

There are race cars, wooden cars, amphibious vehicles, military vehicles, alternative fuel vehicles and some one of-a-kind vehicles.

The museum has about 300 automobiles in total. It is definitely worth seeing and it is budget friendly at $7.00 for adults and $2.00 for kids 6-17 and free for ages 5 years old or younger.

The Nashville Sounds baseball team is fun to watch. Kids love the team mascot, Ollie. If you order tickets in advance online you can get reserved seats for $12 bucks and the general admission seats are $8.00. There are 72 home games in the season.

Grand Old Golf, Game room & Valley Park Go Karts gives you a variety of fun things to choose from. You can play 36 holes of miniature golf on your choice of 3 courses for 8.50 per person. The Go Karts are $7.00 for a single seat or $8.00 for a double seat. There is also a game room on the grounds. They are open year around.

The Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway has a really great deal for race fans. Adult tickets are only $10.00. Tickets for kids ages 11-17 are $8.00 and kids under age 10 are free with a paid adult. There are only a few more races scheduled this year with the last one scheduled on Oct. 3rd 2010.
